WLR Welcomes You to Our Annual Spring Symposium

March 31st, 2016 No comments

On April 8, 2016, Widener University Delaware Law School invites you to attend the Breaking Down Barriers: The Benefits of a More Inclusive Legal Profession symposium, a daylong CLE event hosted by the Widener Law Review and in association with the Delaware State Bar Association Committee on Legal Professionals with Disabilities.

Lawyers with disabilities are one of the most underrepresented groups in the legal profession. But a fundamental shift is underway, as lawyers with disabilities increasingly make their mark in the profession. This symposium will explore the benefits of inclusion and identify best practices for recognizing and addressing barriers to the recruitment, employment, advancement, and general success of lawyers with disabilities.
