On April 17, 2015 Widener University School of Law, Delaware invites you to attend the Strengthening & Protecting Families: The Intersection of Family Health Law & Domestic Violence symposium, a daylong CLE event comprising five panels and 15 to 20 national and local experts in the area of intimate partner violence. The event is hosted by the Widener Law Review and co-sponsored by the Family Health Law & Policy Institute. This event advances the stated goals of the new Family Health Law and Policy Institute (“FHLPI”), which is dedicated to education and law reform relating to families and their health. The Symposium examines domestic violence as a significant family health policy issue, explores the legal and community response to partner violence, and advances improved outcomes for survivors and their children.
